Designed for enhanced sealing efficacy, the Double Mechanical Seal integrates two seals, arranged either in a back-to-back configuration or as a single seal with sealing faces on both sides, also known as a tandem type. These versatile seals come in single-coiled or multi-spring variants, offering flexibility with options for unbalance/unbalance, unbalance/balance, or balance/balance tandem types.

Double Mechanical Seals prove ideal for managing challenging media that may pose difficulties for single seals. To maintain optimal operating conditions and cool the seal faces, a clear, compatible liquid circulates between the two seals at a pressure one bar higher than the pumped liquid.
